ProtoMon can parse any text file (txt, html, xml) using the templates, and import the monitors from it.

Select the Source file then specify the template to parse its content.

To create the template, follow these steps:

Copy a text block containing information about one monitor (a single line of the CSV file, a row of the HTML table, a section of the XML file, etc.) from the source file and paste it to the Parsing template field.
Replace text, that needs to be parsed, with the variables included in braces (click the "+" button for the list of the supported variables; {{}} stands for any text).

See the Parsed monitors field to ensure that monitors parsed correctly. Click the OK button to import them.
